March #4 : An Awesome One After All!

Terengganu was goooooooooood! Sort of a holiday plus a non-stressful meet. The moments from where we waited for each other (swimmates) to arrive at the Skypark Subang Terminal to sitting in the plane to checking in at  Primula Beach Resort to having buffet breakfast and dinner together to everything were just amazingly undescribable. It was a really good trip and we had really good bonding moments together. We had lots of fun, despite of the fact that we had no choice but to walk to wherever we wanted to go. Luckily, Primula Beach Resort was located only a stone's throw away from Pusat Akuatik Kuala Terengganu. It took us about 5 minutes to get there.

I woke up at approximately 4.30 in the morning on Friday as the departure time is at 7am. And I'm car pooling with a friend of mine. He's house is in Subang, therefore I had to catch the early bird. We waited for everyone else at the Subang terminal and just when it was finally time for us to check in at the departure gate, one of my friend was being stopped because he forgot to bring his identity card. How careless of him, when previously, the team manager has already sent out reminders about the trip! Not that we're selfish but we couldn't care much but to get on the plane first to avoid anymore delay that might cause us to miss the flight. He then had to fill in some forms and finally he got on board.

On Saturday, we had to wake up early at around 6.15 to get ourselves ready, take the breakfast and walk to the pool for the meet. The pool was clean. It was breezy and cooling there because of the seaside located nearby. It was a one day meet so all the events were running at quite a high speed. There were barely enough time for us to rest and to get ready for the next event. However, I managed to get 4 silver and 1 bronze after all despite having a swollen ankle and sore, aching muscles on my calves. In fact, everyone else did a very good job too! Our club came in third for overall though we didn't have many swimmers participating.

Sunday was more of a last minute shopping day. Early in the morning, the boys had a football match by the beach. Most of them injured themselves by putting their heart in the game and playing all out. Its a good thing that there was no serious injuries. Then a few of them went for last minute shopping at the market. They bought souvenirs and they actually got attracted to soft toy turtles. We ended up having one each and holding them in our hands through the journey home. That's about all. I got to say Terengganu has many breathtaking sceneries!

March #3 : Discover The Limits!

Here's a list of what I've done throughout the week : SWIM, EAT, SLEEP, REPEAT! Totally awesome, huh? Yes, it's true. I've got training twice a day. 7-9am and 7-9pm daily. Of course, besides that, I've successfully completed my mission in making cards. And I meant cards like birthday cards for friends and family or parents' anniversary card and so on. I actually made around 15, i think. I didn't bother remembering the exact number. Others would probably be thinking like, what?? People don't make cards anymore! They'll just either buy them or nowadays we can even send online cards for convenience. But as for me, I enjoy making them. I like doing crafts and these kind of artsy stuff. So I don't mind spending my day working on them. Also, from my opinion, I think having someone to send you a handmade card is more meaningful than any other form of cards. The card can also be kept and it'll definitely bring back sweet memories in the future. Yes, I'm that kind of person. So hey! If you're lucky enough to receive a card from me on your birthday or so, you better handle it with care as it is made by me with much love! HAHA!

Apart from the card issue, the reason behind why I'm training really hard for swimming is because I'll be competing in an invitational swim meet in Terengganu this coming Saturday. I'm going there by plane, so I'm leaving on Friday. That means I'm going to be absent to school on Friday. Besides taking part in the coming Terengganu meet, I've qualified myself to be a state swimmer! I'm in the KL Team. I was absolutely thrilled when I heard the news! So there'll be an upcoming meet again called National Age Group, NAG for short, on the 6th of April. I think it's kind of my duty and it's also my responsibility to really train hard and make the best out of everything. So yeah, the only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond the impossible.

March #2 : Its Not Over!

So..exams are over. The stressful week is now gone. What's next? HOLIDAYSSSSSS! Finally!! Joyful days are here! It was very much of a relieve though exams' were all about last minute studying. It was an exam week. What more can you say about it? It's definitely filled with sleeping late at night and last minutes of cramming everything into the brain hoping it'll work although I already expected it not to. Actually come to think of it, exams aren't really over until you actually sit for SPM. And! More results are coming back after the one week of holidays. But for now, let's put all those negative thoughts aside because its about time to plan for the holidays! That's about all!

March #1 : Here We Go Again!

Time flieeeeeeeeeeeeeeesss! Two more days to exams! :/ DISLIKE! All in all, the week was fine. Nothing much happened, everything was pretty normal. I'm actually looking forward to the holidays very much after surviving the coming week of stressful and sleepless days. But it's a little too early to look forward to. I guess all I need to do now is to study hard and focus in the exams first before I could think of anything else, although I've got lots of ideas and plannings for how I would spend my time during the break from school. Come to think of it, holiday isn't really a holiday for me. I just remembered that I have to fly to Terengganu for a invitational swimming meet during the holidays! Maybe it would be a swim meet PLUS a not-so-relax vacation..hope its fun!
